Sally Meservy
The things I remember most about Sally are, one, her sense of humor. She was so funny. She would say funny things and do funny things. Sally also had incredible listening skills. She would listen and give advice.
My most recent memory of Sally is when she was at camp. She was so awesome. She cared about all the girls and paid attention to them. She came to our camp very few times, but when she did, it was so fun.
Sally also gave very freely of herself. She would help others any time she was asked. She would do anything she could to make others feel better, even up to her death, she was helping others.
Most of my memories will be of me waving to Sally as she went to the school in the morning and I was walking to the bus. Also, when I would run down to borrow ¼ cup of sugar or something, when she would pick me up from something, some activity, when she would come to my house to talk to my mom and I would listen, or when she would simply drop by to pick up Sarah or my mom to go somewhere. I will mostly remember just everyday life encounters with her. She was an incredible woman that I took for granted. I cannot wait to see her again. I will miss her. I hope I can be worthy to see her again.
