There's a handsome young man we are lucky to know,
If you knew him you'd certainly find
That he wanted a horse in the worst sort of way,
He could not get it off of his mind.

He hoped and he dreamed and he wished and he begged,
You would think it was all he could do.
‘Til a pony called Silver came into his life,
At long last Steven's dream had come true!

Silver and Steve, they're like butter and bread,
You will always see them together.
From morning til night, every day of the year
They keep riding in all kinds of weather.

They ride like the wind in a terrible storm
With the speed of a rocket they fly.
And you might catch a glimpse of the boy and his horse
But don't blink or you'll miss them go by.

It Is rumored that Silver and Steve are together
All twenty-four hours of the day.
Do they sleep in a barn or a bed? And for lunch
Do they eat ice cream sundaes or hay?
